Revise and apply the Data Management Plan

At this stage, researchers make informed decisions about how, where, and with whom visual findings are shared. Outputs may include academic publications, illustrated articles, visual essays, films or videos, exhibitions, or web-based formats. A Data Management Plan (DMP) supports these choices by ensuring that communication practices remain consistent with earlier decisions about data handling, consent, and openness.

DMP’s updates may reflect:

  • changes in consent conditions
  • decisions about anonymization
  • new metadata requirements
  • additional resources needed for data archiving and documentation
